Corey Hatt – Mad Hatter Industries

Corey Hatt is the founder of Mad Hatter Industries (MHI), a veteran-owned Canadian company that creates custom apparel and products aimed at supporting veterans and first responders.

Corey, a former Canadian soldier, launched Mad Hatter Industries after transitioning out of military service to raise awareness about mental health struggles faced by veterans and first responders, particularly in relation to PTSD, trauma, and the challenges of reintegrating into civilian life.

How Corey Hatt & Mad Hatter Industries Helps Canadian Veterans:

  1. Employment Opportunities: MHI provides meaningful work opportunities for veterans, giving them a sense of purpose and community after leaving the military. The company encourages veterans to be involved in the design, production, and management of their apparel line, offering a supportive environment where they can regain confidence and stability.
  2. Mental Health Advocacy: Corey Hatt and Mad Hatter Industries are vocal advocates for mental health awareness. A portion of the proceeds from MHI’s sales goes towards organizations and initiatives that help veterans and first responders struggling with mental health issues, including PTSD. This allows the company to contribute directly to the healing and support of those who have served.
  3. Veteran and First Responder Community: Through events, partnerships, and collaborations with other veteran-owned businesses and charities, MHI fosters a community where veterans and first responders can connect, share their stories, and support each other. The company’s mission is to create a platform that raises awareness of the sacrifices made by those who serve while providing them with resources for mental and emotional healing.

Corey Hatt’s personal experience in the military and his dedication to helping veterans and first responders are at the heart of MHI’s mission to “fight the stigma” around mental health and provide real, tangible support to those in need.
