“I started Aurelius Fine Oils & Balsamic Vinegars while still serving in the military as an answer to my uncle’s question during a family dinner in Italy in 2016: Would Canadians be interested in REAL olive oil?

I decided I was going to find out.  For the next 2 years, I would set up my small table at bakeries and local markets on weekends.  After getting out there and networking, I was lucky enough to start selling to a few top restaurants here in Ottawa (Riviera, e18hteen, North & Navy).  Then in 2018, I decided to leave the military and open my retail brick-and-mortar tasting boutique in Wellington West, Ottawa.

Since then, our authentic, small-batch and artisanal products have garnered a strong reputation amongst our fans.  We also offer an amazing quantity of flavoured olive oils and balsamic vinegars which will surely keep you coming back for more.  

We strive to provide you with the Aurelius Fine Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars experience and turn you from a customer to a fan.

I founded Aurelius Food Co. while still serving in the military. Within a couple years it grew to a point where I decided to leave the Forces and venture out on my own. It began with serving Ottawa’s best restaurants and markets on the weekend, to now having our store front in Wellington West and supplying even more restaurants and critical foodies.

During this journey, I’ve developed a passion for business building and am always looking to connect with leaders and builders to learn how they achieved their success.”
